Get to know four-time Winter Olympian Chemmy Alcott and how she works in partnership with Equity
Chemmy has been a brand ambassador at Equity for a number of years, taking part in our ski inspection visits, presenting to students on our behalf, as well as regularly interacting with our Party Leaders on social media.
Since retiring from skiing, Chemmy has continued to flourish in the winter sports world, regularly presenting on Ski Sunday and commentating on the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang alongside Clare Balding.
Chemmy is no stranger to perseverance and commitment. After having broken 49 bones throughout her skiing career, she has made it her mission to inspire the next generation of snowsport athletes and educate young people about the beneficial impacts of sport.
Charity work is also close to Chemmy’s heart, where she acts as an active ambassador for the likes for Ski4Cancer and our snowsports industry partner Snow-Camp.
“I only align myself with brands I believe in. I have been an Ambassador for Equity for over 5 years. I love the diversity of trips they provide for children all the way from educational experiences to ski trips. So much of my learning about who I am and the world around me came from my experiences on the slopes that to help advocate their idea of active learning outside the classroom is so harmonious for me. Skiing taught me the life skill to tackle whatever my future held and that is the power of active outside learning.” – Chemmy Alcott, Equity Ambassador
