More than a million dollars has been spent on top of the range snowmaking facilities, including 44,000 feet of snowmaking pipes, adding to the Great Bear trail and Lower Pipe Dream.
In addition, four brand spanking new groomers will be added to the Killington fleet improving the overall snow surface for skiers and riders.
The brand-new Snow Six Express, a 6-person high-speed bubble chairlift, will protect passengers from the wind and cold weather as they ascend to the top of Snowdon Mountain peak.
All cabins have been replaced with brand-new Leitner-Poma Sigma 8-person cabins and new haul rope, which will improve de-icing times and reliability.
The new cabins will be fully enclosed, heated and will feature floor to ceiling windows, allowing for stunning panoramic views over Killington.
New Axess smart gates have been introduced to speed up the process with hands-free automated gates instead of manual barcode scanning.
More snow making improvements have been added to the Pico resort, including the installation of new snow guns and a more efficient water transfer system to guarantee extra fresh powder.
As well as making improvements to snowmaking equipment and transportation, investment has been spent on upgrading the resorts rental fleet. Brand new state of the art boot drying/racking systems are being installed in the K-1 and Ramshead rental shops.
